The seed was planted when Rick was introduced to the Norwalk Juicer and began juicing. He was so passionate about juicing, that he even tried to buy the publishing company that produced all of Dr. Norwalk’s books.
Then, in 1987 he started working with Dr. Jeffrey Bland and his projects, Nu-Day and The Perfect Diet. The marketing campaign was a huge success and sold close to $18 million dollars in products.
Rick met Jay Kordich at a seminar educating people on health.
He connected with Dr. Joseph Pizzorno, co-founder of Bastyr University, White House appointee, and co-author of the Encyclopedia of Natural Medicine (2+ million copies sold). From that relationship, Rick went on to serve on Bastyr University’s Board of Advisors from 1993 to 1996.
Next, Rick formed a lasting connection with Dr. Micheal Murray is one of the world’s leading authorities on natural medicine. He has published over 40+ books featuring natural approaches to health with total sales of more than 6 million copies.
