Before the industry caught up, she reimagined natural medicine…
Dr. Michele created Healthy Fashionista in 2010 while in naturopathic medical school to develop a distinct voice at the intersection of health and lifestyle. At the time, natural medicine lacked modern positioning, often leaning heavily into a “granola” identity. She approached it differently, blending fashion with health and delivering practical, evidence-based education in a way that felt relevant, elevated, and accessible to women.
The platform naturally expanded into partnerships with supplement companies, clean beauty brands, and natural clothing lines, along with radio features and a long-term contributing role with Better Nutrition Magazine.
Today, brands like Erewhon, Moon Juice, and Goop define this space, but when she began, this integration of wellness, fashion, and modern lifestyle was still taking form, and she was among the early voices shaping it. As Michele evolved and went deeper within herself, she re-branded the platform to Medicine Wild integrating fashion on a more subtle level and a deeper focus on nature.

Then came…
the first online business & branding course for naturopathic doctors
She saw a gap in the naturopathic community and built what didn’t exist.
In 2012, as the digital world was just beginning to take shape, she created one of the first modern branding courses for naturopathic doctors, guiding physicians to expand beyond the clinic and express their work with clarity and beauty.
With no existing infrastructure, she built and coded the platform herself. She inspired and encourage doctors to step forward, share their voice, and bring a more refined, nature-rooted perspective into the world.
Nearly 1,500 practitioners and students took the course before she closed its “doors” and she moved on put her focus on other projects.
But, something didn’t feel right…
She was exhausted by the constant pressure to produce and by the feeling that she had to show up.
The irony became undeniable: while creating content around balance and wellness, her own life had drifted out of alignment.
She began a daily practice of stillness and questioned what she was actually building and why.
She started to move with more intention. The result was better work and better outcomes.
More thoughtful content. More aligned collaborations. More depth in every offering. More beauty in her visuals.
She no longer sought a large audience, only the right one. A community that trusted, engaged, and stayed.
There was no pursuit of attention. No desire for virality. No pull toward ego.
Her work became guided by something deeper… a commitment to freedom, integrity, and meaningful contribution.
From that, her income expanded even more and without force.
Then, she stepped away from blogging, social media, and living the “dream” in California…

and life in a small village on a Greek island.
She figured out how to make more money with less effort, no social media posting, remain authentic to herself, and create an even stronger brand.
Brand & Market like Water
She teaches you to apply the ancient Taoist philosophy of water to marketing, using less force to create more powerful results.
She built a more profitable business with greater freedom, creating space for focused work and time in nature.
She went on to formulate and bring to market over 30 supplements, while becoming more selective in her partnerships, choosing fewer, fully aligned collaborations.
She shifted from constant output to intentional creation, defining a unique clinical niche of her own, grief medicine and a deeply immersive virtual gathering for women.
