Rick has perfected the art of product positioning in the wellness industry.

When he was only 29 years old, Rick built Trillium Health products into a $75-million-dollar revenue generating company, in only four short years.

Rick made juicing and daily fruit and vegetable consumption mainstream in the 1990s with his company, Trillium Health Products.

Next, he helped transform the dental category elevating the market from a $2 toothbrush to a $150 standard with Sonicare.

The seed was planted when Rick was introduced to the Norwalk Juicer and began juicing. He was so passionate about juicing, that he even tried to buy the publishing company that produced all of Dr. Norwalk’s books.

Then, in 1987 he started working with Dr. Jeffrey Bland and his projects, Nu-Day and The Perfect Diet. The marketing campaign was a huge success and sold close to $18 million dollars in products.

He connected with Dr. Joseph Pizzorno, co-founder of Bastyr University, White House appointee, and co-author of the Encyclopedia of Natural Medicine (2+ million copies sold). From that relationship, Rick went on to serve on Bastyr University’s Board of Advisors from 1993 to 1996.
